Adam Gamble, is a writer, a photographer, and a publisher. He is the author of many books in the Good Night Books series, In the Footsteps of Thoreau, and A Public Betrayed. He lives in Sandwich, MA. Mark Jasper is the author of many books in the Good Night Our World series, The Cape Cod Christmas Cookbook, Haunted Cape Cod and the Islands, and Haunted Inns of New England. He lives in Sandwich, MA.Illustrator Cooper Kelly grew up in Connecticut and New York City and currently lives in Paris, France. He works in a variety of styles and has illustrated for a wide range of clients in adult and children’s publishing. This book had so much potential. It's so bad. It's like the author googled the top 10 things to do in Texas and threw them together in a poorly organized fashion. I wish they had some input from an actual Texan. Wish I had saved my money and bought something else. Also it's printed in China which is irrelevant but annoying. I feel like a book about a US state should be printed in the US.
I wish I could say good night to Michigan forever. But I can't, so this gets my nephew by at least. This winter hellscape is a better place with this book.
Cutest book. My son was born and raised in Texas. As a result we’ve been to all the places in the book. To personalize the book, I inserted/taped photos of my son on each page much to the delight of my grand daughter.
Had it before for same child that turned 1 today and I just wish Amazon would have told me I bought the same book b4.
I bought this book for my daughter as I had seen it in a store and hadn't bought it at that time so I was so happy to have found it on Amazon. It has all of the great places in Michigan in it and it will be fun as she gets older to take her to all the places and have her recognize the places in the book.
This book was OK but with all the great books out there I thought this was kind of bland. I bought her Good Night Seattle or something similar and I remember it had much more of a storyline. If you can get it for a great price I would have given it more stars just because it does mention some Texas history such as the Alamo and some of the larger cities.
Great little books! My young grandkids love them!
Love the Good Night books! Quick, easy, and pretty educational reads, plus my kids love just flipping through to see the pictures.
